The Process
How A New Roof

Strip & Inspect
We remove the old covering and inspect the timbers, replacing anything that's rotten or undersized.
Prep & Ventilate
New battens, breathable underlay and proper ventilation — so the roof can breathe and won't rot from underneath.
Cover & Finish
Slate or tile laid, ridges and verges finished, lead flashing fitted, and the whole site cleared.
How Long Does It Take?
A typical house roof takes somewhere between 3 and 10 working days depending on size, pitch, covering and access. Weather plays a part too — we won't lay tiles in heavy rain or high wind because it affects the finished job.
You'll get a realistic timeline in your written quote, and we'll keep you updated each day on where we've got to. Your roof is never left open overnight — we make it watertight at the end of every day.
